CORGI Certification Scheme for Registered Gas Installers
The achievement of CORGI Blueshield Certification, whatever the size of the business, has a significant influence in fostering gas safety, raising standards and promoting excellence within the industry. H&A Mechanical Services are one of the few installers in Northern Ireland to have gained this valued recognition.

Certification by CORGI Certification provides an accessible way to give customers and consumers assurance in an installer’s ability to deliver a quality service, focusing as it does on ‘Best Value’. It is designed to assess the integrity of an installer’s management systems and arrangements for the control of safe gas work against the Standards developed to ensure continuing accreditation by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service to European Standard BS EN 45011. It demonstrates that they have the systems necessary for the consistent provision of safe gas work and obviates the need to carry out time-consuming checks before employing a contractor. Using contractors who have gained CORGI Certification provides your organisation with the benefit of reassurance that they have ‘taken one step further’ to ensure the dependability of their processes and procedures.

CONTRACTORS CHARTER
H&A Mechanical Services Ltd acknowledge and understand our clients objectives when  fulfilling the desire to deliver the principals of a 'Best Value' developed strategy as part of its installation and associated works programme and give you our understanding to establish a positive relationship for working closely together. We will open and maintain dedicated lines of communication between all parties and 'partners' within this contract and endeavour to respond sympathetically and promptly to all requests for assistance, information and the resolution of complaints, defects and faults without bias or delay. To ensure the highest standard of service is provided H&A Mechanical Services Ltd undertake to:-
1. Conduct ourselves with integrity, impartiality and honesty and not knowingly mislead or deceive anyone in the provision of the services provided.
2. Endeavour to deal with members of the public promptly, efficiently, sympathetically and without bias.
3. Respond to all requests for assistance within the given time frame.
4. When undertaking work in your home, we will:-
-Give advance notice and make arrangements for access.
- Keep appointments that have been made and inform you if we are unable to call as arranged.
- Identify ourselves on arrival.
- Keep you informed as to progress.
-Respect your property.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship.
-Remove any rubbish created by the work and leave your home clean and tidy.
- Advise you of any hazards associated with the work and take every precaution to comply with current health & safety requirements.

We see the partnering principals as not only being between ourselves and the Housing Executive but developed beyond that to include the tenant, their representatives and associations as well as our specialist sub-contractors, manufacturers and suppliers to bring added value to the contract thereby providing a fully integrated 'team' approach.
